Water-Colors-Project 2!

Video projections went great!
We ended up projecting colors of running water down the two pillars that are in front of the daily grind at the campus center. In Final Cut we edited a video of a small wooden block with tea being poured over top of it, and changed the colors to intensify their effect. There are also two prints of trees that are hanging in the back, in front of the campus center grind door that I printed on a stretchy fabric. Everything turned out amazing and I really loved the final edit. We all each even were able to edit different colors for the final projection. The music during the projections sounded awesome too with our work!

Project 2 ideas

For this project Nemesis, Emily, Ryan and I will be working on a collaborative idea that involves displaying overflowing water coming out of planters above the campus center pillars. The water will change and morph into different colors as it flows down the campus center patio like paint would. Ryan and Nemesis will be working on the technical side of the project while Emily and I will work on the artistic/conceptual side of the project. The idea below is an example of what the water may look like coming out of the planters during the final piece. We would like for the water to flow down onto the campus patio like a waterfall would.
